Movement 3: <\/strong>Coastal Drag\/Spin (Water)<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 Marine air mass collides with coastal mountains deflecting south and driving the California ocean current and forcing the upwelling of cold, nutrient rich deep water along the coast.<\/span><\/p>\n
